This is an amazing creation by artists Matthew Kirscht, Greg Rozeboom with music by Jack Hylton and His Orchestra and written by Montague Ewing. Click any pic to link to YouTube site and enjoy!
Ooo the sights and sounds of Hallowe’en approach.
There is something about the heightened senses we have in the dark, when our ears catch the slightest murmur, whisper or groan.
We all listen for that far-off cry of the werewolf, the howls under moonlight, the shuffle of a zombie approach or the soft fluttering of darkened wings overhead.
This season calls for musical mise-en-scene, those rhapsodic melodies to indulge our cravings, tempt our secret soul and evoke fond recollections and surprised delight.
I humbly offer these thirty-one collected tunes to enchant your ears.
Thought I would put together a playlist – be warned – this may seem quirky, odd, even, well, you tell me what you think, hope you recognize at least a few and perhaps there are some surprises sifted in.

I have attended the first day opening of the Rogers Gardens Halloween Event for the past few years and I will be there early to enjoy it this year as it looks to be especially creepy. The four rooms they usually design/decorate traverse beautiful to bizarre, worth the stop if you are near Corona del Mar, Ca. See you there? Click pic to link to site.
The holiday season provides ample opportunities for socializing amongst family and friends, coworkers, club members, and others and I look forward to such occasions with heady anticipation. I’m usually a homebody, so this time of year is nice to step out and experience the excitement and expectations in the wind up to the big day and New Year beyond. I hum carols to myself as I get ready to attend an event, package goodies to deliver as host gifts, wrap small gifts for friends I won’t see at the end of the month. There is much that is undergoing change at present and just now it feels the time will slow briefly so that we can savor the season, I hope that you all find a little downtime to do just that. Between parties, of course.
As the nights grow longer, deeper and darker, this may help while away those hours between sunset and sunrise.
This is a quick bit of video footage taken by my husband (Redwire), he is very proud of the automated cauldron prop, it was the first mechanical prop I’d asked for and I think he did an amazing job putting it together. This is the walk up to my front door and the entrance to our “Shoppe”. The music overlay is from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, episode “Hush” a great piece of music called “Golf Claps” by Christophe Beck.

In case you didn’t know it, there is a online radio station that is built around a Halloween format every day of the year! Its called Halloween Radio and you can click the pic to link to the site and start swaying or swinging to those old favorites and new releases all year long. Pretty soon, it’ll be that time again, and this should help while away the hours…days…months…sigh…good grief!
Ok, so Villains were out for picture taking opportunities and the music was pretty good standard Halloween fare (Thriller, for instance), the park is packed and it’s perfect weather. Bandwidth is weak due to overuse so pics will post tomorrow.
Here they are! This nice lady was answering the question, if I was a zombie, what would I look like? I think she pulls it off…
